Wednesday March 27th delivery to Poolesville Little Free Pantry

It was a rainy day in Poolesville last Wednesday, but the Buddhist Relief team were all smiles as they delivered a whopping 765.4 lbs of food to the Poolesville Little Free Pantry

Everyone pitched in to unload our van of its cargo of varied foods ranging from staples such as canned and dry beans, rice, vegetable oil, broth, cheese, and regular milk to condiments of mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard, to pasta sauce, peanut butter, jelly, to tortillas, oat milk, hazelnut spread, donuts, mixed nuts, and other fun foods, not to mention the 250 lbs of fresh produce.

Sarah Defnet, Manager of the PLFP, noted that giving to KPC Buddhist Relief is even more effective than giving directly to PLFP or any one of the partner organizations, because Buddhist Relief has “a more extensive reach” throughout the county, “a wider spread” and “everything goes right out to the people.”

Be a part of KPC Buddhist Relief’s work to eradicate food insecurity in Montgomery County and beyond. Please donate.
