Celebrating volunteers from near and far!
A behind-the-scenes look at Buddhist Relief in action! 💚
Rudy, one of our most seasoned volunteers, welcomed our new volunteer Sunita to the Upcounty Hub's choice food pantry, giving her a tour and sharing how our partnership helps serve hundreds of families each week. Sunita, visiting from India, chose to spend her brief time in the U.S. volunteering with KPC and Buddhist Relief—and jumped right in to help document the produce delivery. She was honored to do so and was very moved by KPC’s ceaseless activities to benefit so many beings!
That day, our team delivered 1,040 lbs. of fresh produce—including oranges, bananas, pears, carrots, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, yuca, zucchini, jalapeños, and jicama. The following day, all of it was distributed to over 100 families.
Week after week, without fail, Buddhist Relief continues to contribute to the community’s food needs through our partnership with the Upcounty Hub.
